The Colonial Theatre was a first-run house. An Estey organ was installed in the theatre in 1914. A Wurlitzer pipe organ replaced the Estey in 1919. Henry T. Moore’s Moore Amusement Company, which owned the Colonial Theatre in 1926, was merged into the new Pacific Northwest Theatres, Incorporated, on 21 August 1926, under the control of president Harry C. Arthur.
